One client in Windermere, Edmonton had been enjoying their time with their grandchildren when they got a little too rowdy while playing. The couch, though sturdy, shifted backward at an angle when they all piled onto it, damaging the wall behind it. Luckily, it was made of drywall and had been painted, so it wasn’t a huge concern.
Damaged sheetrock might not lead to issues quickly, but the client didn’t like the idea of a hole in their wall. She called us at Innovation Drywall of Edmonton to ask about our drywall installation services, and we were able to come out quickly.
Upon an inspection, we realized that there was significant internal damage, so we fixed the framing and installed a new sheet of drywall, perfectly seaming it with the current pieces. It looked just like it did before the accident, and our client was highly satisfied.

Windermere is a beautiful neighbourhood in the southwest portion of Edmonton, Alberta and overlooks the gorgeous North Saskatchewan River valley. The latitude and longitude for Windermere are 53.4392 degrees North and 113.6188 degrees West. According to the Municipal Census of 2005, there were 84 homes in the area, and most were in the early stages of development. All but three were owner-occupied at the time.
Currently, there are three schools in the area: St. John XXII, Dr. Margaret-Ann Armour school, and Constable Daniel Woodall School. They cover all of the resident children’s needs.
Windermere Ridge is the most expensive housing street in Edmonton, and some building lots have about 31,000 square feet of area.
The client enjoys living in this area and going to the attractions available. Two of their favourites include Windermere Crossing and Langdale Playground.
Windermere Crossing
Windermere Crossing is a large shopping centre with 30+ retailers. It’s over 21 acres wide and offers dining options and so much more. Our client enjoys spending time there, and it’s one of her favourite things.
Shopping is part of her and her grandchildren’s lives, and she enjoys spending money on them and buying them things to take home and play with at her house!
Langdale Playground
Langdale Playground is a spacious place where kids of all ages can play and experience new things. Our client enjoys playing with her grandkids and watching while they move about the ropes, bars, boulders, and everything else. It truly brightens her day when the weather is nice enough to visit this location!
